School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (SCEE) is a structural subdivision of the O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy, which carries out educational activities related to the training of specialists with higher education in relevant educational programs at the first (bachelor's), second (master's), third (educational and scientific) levels of higher education, and conducts research.
The School was established on September 1, 2021, on the basis of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering Networks and Urban Ecology of the University.
The School provides training for higher education applicants in the following specialties:
E2 (101) Environmental Studies;
G2 (183) Environmental Protection Technology;
G19 (192) Building and Civil Engineering;
G18 (193) Geodesy and Land Management;
194 Hydrotechnical Construction, Water Engineering and Water Technologies;
J4 (263) Occupational Safety.
The SCEE consists of 13 departments, 11 of which are graduate departments in the institute's specialties, and a training and research and testing center.
The institute has more than 1500 full-time and part-time students studying at the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education.
The strategic goal of the SCEE in educational activities is to provide educational services that meet the real needs of the labor market, higher education standards, ensure the integration of educational and scientific processes, personal development of higher education students, and the use of modern teaching methods and tools.
The strategic goal of the SCEE in scientific activity is to develop scientific research as the basis for education and training, effective promotion of scientific products in the regional, national and international markets.
The strategic goal of the SCEE in organizational and image activities is to form an effective information and communication policy and create a recognizable positive image of the Institute.
To implement the strategic objectives, the departments of the School employ experienced research and teaching staff who constantly improve their professional skills and qualifications, and participate in research.
